I loved it! I thought it was really funny and sweet and I liked all of the characters, even the annoying ones like Mrs. Elton. I actually found her petty superiority quite funny at times and all of the characters were just really well developed and more fully rounded than any of the other books, I think.

I read this book for bookclub and really had a hard time getting through it. A friend then suggested that I slow down and take it the pace with which these people lived their lives. Good advice. What I really liked was at the end of my version, there was a discussion on how Cher from Clueless was a 90s version of Emma. Ah-ha!

It's probably really bad to say I like the movie better. I do still love Pride & Prejudice though.
