I'm not going to lie: I liked the way things unfolded in the movie rather than the book. But I think it's okay to say that because the author wrote the screenplay and directed the movie, so he obviously have his own book justice enough.

The writing was so raw and emotional, but still child-like and limited in its vocabulary. Also, the big reveal at the end that seemed so obvious in the movie was less obvious in the book, I think. Charlie also had a more repaired relationship with his father by t
