I really really enjoyed this one... Right up until the end. That wrapped up way too well!
I also keep seeing all these advertisements for the book, making people really excited. It's good, and I love Becca Fitzpatrick, but be prepared for an ending unfit for a thriller of this caliber. I read an advanced readers copy, so maybe they will have made some changes about the ending, but I doubt it. ...more

Black Ice by Becca Fitzpatrick was full of suspense and action. I figured out who was bad pretty early on, but the story was told so well that it didn't put a damper on my enjoyment of the story one bit. The characters are in the mountains, in a remote area, in the middle of a snowstorm. So, they have many challenges to survive, not to mention each other. There was a bit of romance thrown in the mix to amp it up, I'm not sure why I waited so long to read this. ...more
