Well , this was one of my most disappointing books of 2016. I was really anticipating this book but I forgot about it so I only just got around reading it now. My main problem with this story is the writing style.The writing style made the story very boring and slow . I was counting the pages , I felt like nothing really happened for the first half. The end picked up and got exciting but it wasn't enough to keep me engaged. I do appreciate the diversity (POC) but it just wasn't enough for m ...more

Wow, I don't know what to say without giving things away. If you want a summary I guess you can look at the one goodreads provides because I never summarize books in my reviews since I think it's best to go in knowing nothing. Usually, I just try to explicate how I feel; and right now I'm not sure how I feel about this.

The pace was reasonable, there was action, romance (obviously, is there a book without it?), mystery, and maybe even a little bit of suspense. I guess the romance wasn't ...more

If you haven't guessed already but I re-read Passenger in preparation for the final book Wayfarer (I am intentionally avoiding any reviews for it and wish not to know how it ends) And during my second re-read of Passenger I wanted to try and savor it for as long as possible which kind of worked. So Bracken here did a Veronica Roth move, and well she has a knack at constantly catching people off guard and may I add this book does time travel right unlike Geir on the other hand who botched it up in the last two books and hey Bracken here actually made time travel fun with rules and neither Etta nor Nicholas are in the same place for too long so the story is constantly on the move.

Yeah I need book two ASAP.

Also Alexandra Bracken is an auto-buy author no really I'll gladly read anything she writes and Passenger is a brilliant book. ...more
