What a great first book in a trilogy. The world building was well done and a real delight to figure out! Definitely one of the best books I read this year. I cannot wait to read the sequel (that I immediately bought after reading DOSAB)

I now see why people like this series so much I might have another author to delve into this book is pretty easy to get into but the shit hits the fan after chapter 30 but most of all I found myself wanting Karou and Akiva to just survive namely these two go through so much that you might wind up not wanting to put this book down.
