What Members Thought
Picoult still remains my favorite author and this is one of her top 3 books I would say. I met her for the first time and she signed my copy so this has to be one of my top 10 for 2008!
I think this one besides My Sister's Keeper is my favorite out of all the books I have read by her. It a book that makes you think alot and you always seem to be changing your mind about what the mom in the book should do. Watch out because its a tearjerker I cried thoughtout the entire book!

I did really like this-not quite as good as My Sister's Keeper or The Pact, but it was still good enough to read 4 times (so far!) and not get bored. It has some very religious themes, which are not my favorite subject to read about, but it's worth reading.

I can honestly say I haven't been disappointed in any book I've read by Picoult. She tugs at your heart in each novel and really makes you view situations from all sides. This reminded me a bit of The Green Mile. It was a great book.

5 ⭐️One of my top three Jodi Piccoult books. A great amount of research (medical and religious) obviously went into this thought provoking book. Really makes you think...
I was already anti-death penalty but this book really pushed me to be more active in the anti-death penalty movement. This book gives you a lot to think about.
This, as most of Jodi Picoult's books, are very interesting, and show the research she puts into them. She is my favorite author
