I am just loving Picoult's books right now. This one ... not one of my favorites. The story line moves back and forth between characters, one moving forward into the future and the others moving back in time. I found this hard to follow and had to reread whole sections of the book when I finished to fully understand the entire story and to fill in the gaps of what I didn't get while reading the book. No surprises here.

Like most Jodi Picoult books, this one was heart wrenching. Everyone had said this was the worst of all her books but I didn't think so. I liked it just fine. There were definitely parts I didn't like and characters I hated but it was well written. I love that parts of it were written backwards in time. It makes me want to read it a second time. I probably will at another time.

Picoult is a favorite of mine...This is her first novel and I can definitly see how her style has grown. I am enjoying it so far.
I cheated a little while reading this book. I had read several reviews that this was not a good book and that Rachel's part goes backwards so I read her part in reverse order. I read the story as presented but when it came to Rachel's part I read from the back of the book...I guess I kind of cheated the system a little bit, but this is why I probably liked the book so much better than most people.

I liked this book. I wasn't a big fan of the ending and I have to say her books have gotten a lot better... but overall good book!
