What Members Thought
You know I love Jodi Picoult! Man, she is such a great writer, isn't she? Picoult's character development and great story lines make her books among my favorites and this one did not disappoint. The development of these characters over the years is incredible- her attention to detail made me feel like I actually know these people and it was easy to hate and love them at different parts of the book. The story had me wondering what would happen next and the end of the book had me wanting more.

I couldn't finish this book (A Jodi Picoult first for me since I'm normally addicted to her books start to finish). It might have been the theme (being a new mom I had no desire to empathize with a fictional new mom who decides to abandon her baby to find herself). It just wasn't a great story from the beginning for me, but it was one of her earlier books. Moving on...
