Jodi Picoult says, "I have always said that I write books about questions that don't have easy answers." Ms. Picoult doesn't just pose a random question and come up with random answers. This is the best researched book I have read in a long time. She does extensive interviews with subjects similar to her characters. I spent hours today trying to finish this book for a number of reasons. Usually I am a very slow reader. Usually I love Jodi Picoult books. Usually I find her characters intriguing. But not this time. Yes, I still enjoyed her writing; her observations are painfully accurate when she digs deep into the world of high school. This was a pretty quick read. I enjoyed it, but it was a little far fetched sometimes. I didn't like the comics in the book though. I usually passed by those. It's worth reading.
