Jodi Picoult says, "I have always said that I write books about questions that don't have easy answers." Ms. Picoult doesn't just pose a random question and come up with random answers. This is the best researched book I have read in a long time. She does extensive interviews with subjects similar to her characters. For me, this was not up to par with the rest of Jodi Picoult's books. It wasn't bad, just not as gripping or heartfelt as some of her others. Worth reading if you are like me and need to read everything an author writes if you collect them. However, I was disappointed with this one.

This book was a bit more graphic then I would have liked, but it really shows what teenagers are like in the world today! We can't turn a blind eye when we notice something different. If you think your kids are rebels or difficult, I encourage reading this book!

Not one of my favs. I felt she could have delved a little deeper into the situations.. and didn't love the "comic-book" feel.
