(re-read) Time Taken To Read - 3 days

Blurb From Goodreads

Do we love across time? Or in spite of it?

By the title, it's not that hard to guess and/or assume that paranormal activity will be involved. And sure enough, starting at like, page 9, Ross Wakeman is trying to hunt down a ghost that is huanting a couple's bedroom. Anywho, this book is... I don't know, the plot is kind of everywhere. This book is my all time favorite of Jodi Picoult's. Spoiler Alert!!!!

I had several ephianies reading this book. One about karma and soul mates. In losing my husband 14 years ago, the book just brought home to me many things that I have thought about in reference to these subjects. I had to stop and re-read and cried during several parts of the book as it rang so true to my heart. Picoult can touch her readers on so many levels. She teaches us lots of different things in her books by the topics

Superb... this is different from other Picoult's books as it delves into the paranormal world. No court scenes which I didn't mind. As per usual, Picoult brings to the fore moral/ethical issues and the pros and cons and makes you really question your values.

She is a great story teller and I always enjoy her books. She remains one of my favourite authors even though she is not for everyone and I certainly have found some of her books really hard going.

I enjoyed reading this book although there are so many characters at the beginning of it. However, Vermont Eugenics project that was part of the story is quite disturbing.
