I am looking forward to reading this book- The prologue was amazing enough!

This book was beautifully crafted novel about a mom who would do anything for her son. I asked myself throughout the entire book, "what would I have done?" I never came up with an answer, but the question was a good one! The prologue, which I mentioned earlier, was what really grabbed my attention to this novel and it didn't disappoint!

Not as good as a lot of Jodi's writing -- at times it seems like the characters are mechanically stepping thru their roles, in a forced interaction; rather than her normal style of letting you become a part of their world and you are able to relate to how the individuals cope in their situations.

It didn't get better... I finished the book, only because I kept thinking I'd get caught up in the trial; it just made me wish I had dropped the book off someone for someone else.

I really like Jodi Picoult's style of writing. I love all of her books that I have read so far. This one had a nice spin on the end. This book really made me think about how much I would be willing to do for my future kids, what is too much! I guess that is something I'll just have to find out later in life. ...more
