A strong, solid Picoult about the repercussions and implications of a tragic school shooting. Loved the story, the attention to detail, the raw emotion conveyed through the characters, but I'm getting a tad weary of the formulaic "adolescent encounters trouble, bending into ethical dilemma, leading to tired legal dispute, finishing with the unveiled 'twist' at the end".

This book was very good. While I was not thrilled with the ending I still felt that the rest of the book made up for that. I really liked watching the characters grow and seeing where they were before the shooting and after the shooting. This is my first Jodi Picoult book and I look forward to reading more from her.

This one is pretty current, not just because it's her newest book besides the one coming out in March, but because it deals with a Columbine-esque story line. There are more issues involved besides the school shootings and even the end involves a bit of a twist. Great book.

This was the first book that I read from Jodi Picoult and she became my favorite author after I read it. It will make you cry and empathize with the characters in the story. I wouldn't recommend it for those of you who can't take drama.

Good book. I love the sensitivity Picoult must have to give a side to the "perp" (i watch law and order :)) that is emotionally jarring. It makes you question every judgment you make. Still, not my favorite of Picoults.

Not an easy book to read, but as usual Jody takes the reader through everyone's point of view and makes the journey so enjoyable.
