Can you say Columbine? Following the famous or infamous, depending on you perception, Picoult takes a current event and fictionalizes it. She deals with the various characters emotional states as the events unfold. The sequence is flawless and the by now expected twist knocks you flat. Definitely another winner by Jodi Picoult.

this book is a masterpiece. EVERYONE needs to read, teens and adults alike. the topic of the novel is not pleasant but needs to be discussed in order to be prevented. we need to see the reality of the effects of bullying, how extremely awful we can make someone feel... to the point where they give up all hope in the good people in the world. most importantly, we need to show people that they are not alone in the battles of life. that they are loved and supported and they will find a way to get t

Thank you Kristine for introducing me to Jodi Picoult. Everybookso far has been wonderful, engaging and the "twists" are totally a suprise everytime. Loved Nineteen Minuets and cant wait to start the next one!

This book stuck with me for a couple of days. I used to be in the "popular" crowd in high school and I never thought my actions could cause someone to feel badly. I wish I would have rad this book in high school. I think I would have acted totally different.
