When I finished this book, my thoughts were reeling and I had cried from the amount of emotion that was packed into those pages. I was suprised. I was heart broken. I thought the ending was a little messed up. I thought the book was beautifully written. I thought it was a heartwrenching book that made you stop and think for a few minutes. Even with all of these things running through my head I knew that this was my favorite book; the best book I have ever read.

This wasn't my favorite Picoult novel. The character development was excellent, and Picoult possesses a phenomenal ability to create empathy for both sides of a controversial topic. The ending was a real disappointment for me. I do not feel like the twist was fully explained, either through symbolism or a blatant verbal explanation. The book read very well until the ending, however, the final two chapters felt very rushed and I was somewhat disappointed.

Nineteen Minutes was a great book. It had a really fantastic storyline and many twists to it. As soon as I thought I had the whole book figured out, I realized I was wrong and a knew surprise was set before me. I thought that the characters were well thought out and that the ending was good too.
Last 1/4 of the book was the best. First parts moved a little too slow for me.
I learned how the ripple effect really works.
