"He kissed her so gently she wondered if she had imagined it."

"To say there had been a loss was ludicrous; one lost a shoe or a set of keys. You did not suffer the death of a child and say there was a loss. There was a catastrophe. A devestation. A hell."

This was a wonderful and intensely emotional book. Jodi, yet again, master the art of taking difficult and debative issues in society and creating a story from it. This one is so sad. It started off with a tear jerking chapter and finsished off with the same. It shows a good portrayl of a young couples love and what great lengths one person will go to for the love of their life. I cried.
