We all know that Picoult is an amazing, and I truly mean amazing, writer in all aspects. She feeds you a story that you try to wrap your head around and she hooks you from the very first page. She writes a realistic story that twists and turns in ways you can't predict. A story that once you start falling into its world, you don't want to leave, just so you can discover what will happen next.

Jodi Picoult brought readers into the life of Katie Fischer, an amish girl who is accused of murdering her baby. This plot unfolded into a very dramatic and emotional storyline. I was practically glued to the words and the pages of this novel. I was sitting at the edge of my seat anticipating what would happen next. I really enjoyed reading Plain Truth.

This is one of my favorite Jodi Picoult stories. I loved learning about the Amish through this story. The relationship between the two main characters who appear to be so completely different, but in the end find that they have some significant things in common was well done. In general this is a very good book with a twist at the end that I didn't see coming.

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. Typical Picoult writing, which I always like to read, but I found this to be one of her better stories.
