I really enjoyed the romance, what I felt were realistic scenes from the jail, but I did not like the Indian legends. Picoult's books always draw you in.

This is one of Picoult's most engrossing novels. The main character discovers that she was kidnapped as a child. While investigating her own history she learns more about her daughter, her best friends, her family and herself that she ever could have imagined. Full of suspense, romance, discovery, and exploration of the US justice system.

One of my favorite books that I've read lately. I was hooked from the first chapter, but I do admit I skipped over a few of the jail scene chapters because of the crudeness. I couldn't put it down and when it ended I wanted a sequel to find out what happened next!

A good book. It was well thought out, but I didn't like how it ended. It aggravated me to no end, but it's all based on who you like. Overall it was cleverly crafted
