Jodi Picoult has reached a new level with her new book, Lone Wolf. This book dragged me into a story, that I was uncertain about and before I knew it I was firmly engrossed. So much so that I continued to read through the tears, laughter, pain and heartache until the end of the book.
Luke Warren, the main character, was a man who lived life within his own boundaries. To some that life excluded his human family. To others he was a man who was able to understand and be one with a pack of wolves. T ...more

The amount of research that goes into Jodi Picoult's books has always been evident, but this book really takes things to a new level. From the knowledge of the medical field, to the legal system to the science of wolves, you will not be disappointed.

It was too metaphorical at times, and some of the characters were not believable to me. I really, really enjoyed the voice of Luke Warren, whose voice focuses mainly on describing his time spent living with the wolves. Knowing this was based on a real-life person was incred

My tenth Jodi Picoult novel, so that should tell you how much I enjoy her books. Seriously, they are amazzing in so many ways. This is the story of Luke Warren, a divorced father of two and well-known wolf biologist. His twenty-four-year-old son Edward has taken off for Thailand at the age of eighteen, and his seventeen-year-old daughter Cara has chosen to live with Luke instead of her newly-remarried mother's family. When Luke and Cara are in a tragic car accident which leaves Luke in a coma, C
