Jodi Picoult uses the same recipe for just about every one of her books: take a controversial issue, take it to court, and read it from different points of view. A lot of authors may not be able to make this work, but it works for Picoult. Sing You Home is no exception.
This also isn't the first Jodi Picoult book that made me cry at the end. The entire book was both beautiful and tragic.

Sing you Home was a typical Jodi Picoult book. I wonder sometimes how she comes up with her story lines. Do they just wash over her, or does she have to sit down and think, 'Right, what's going to be the next controversial topic I write about.'

This is your typical Jodi Picoult book of a controversial issue and a court case ensues. However, I never tire of her stories. This book I enjoyed quite a bit as it didn't have a super sad premise to it.

It took me a while to get into this one, which is pretty strange for a Jodi Picoult book, but I ended up speeding through the end. Once it got into the trial (I'll admit, the trials are always my favorite parts of Jodi Picoult books), though, I couldn't put it down! I loved the ending, especially the last chapter. I won't say what it's about because I don't want to spoil the ending, but the last chapter was so adorable. It's rare for one of Picoult's books to have a happy ending.

It was a little harder to finish then most of Jodi's books for me. But deffintly LOVED the ending. I loved the whole story to be honest. Maybe it was just life that got me down. But I did love the book.

I was really enjoying this throughout most of it however the end killed it...I usually love Jodi Picoult's endings and I am not saying there needed to be a twist but I feel like she REALLY rushed the ending. I was looking for more pages and could not find them.
