Jodi Picoult uses the same recipe for just about every one of her books: take a controversial issue, take it to court, and read it from different points of view. A lot of authors may not be able to make this work, but it works for Picoult. Sing You Home is no exception.

This also isn't the first Jodi Picoult book that made me cry at the end. The entire book was both beautiful and tragic.

The difference here is that this book came with a soundtrack to go with each chapter. I listened to the first

This is your typical Jodi Picoult book of a controversial issue and a court case ensues. However, I never tire of her stories. This book I enjoyed quite a bit as it didn't have a super sad premise to it. ...more

I've long been a Picoult fan, but I found this latest work to be somewhat disappointing. While I appreciate what Picoult does by using contemporary issues as the groundwork for novels, this one seemed to be more about the issue than it did about the story. The plot seemed to me to be a little forced, and the interaction between the characters was often too rushed to be believable. And for the most part, the characters did not seem to be as complex as are many of her characters. The subject matte ...more

Awesome book! Jodi Picoult is one of my favorite authors but when I read her last two books I hated the endings. This book reminds me why I like to read Jodi Picoult books. It takes me back to some of favorite books like Nineteen Minutes and Plain Truth! All of the characters were very interesing but I liked Zoe the best! I loved reading about Zoe's journey and how she found herself! I didn't want to finish it! ...more

Like all her other books I enjoyed it. Took a little bit longer for me to read. It was nice to see the ending turn out the way it did and see everyone happy.

not my favorite Picoult, but definitely a good read as I have come to expect with all of her novels.

Once again Jodi Picoult has managed to knock me over. Loved the book...loved the controversy... A couple of twists and turns... a highly charged moral dilemma

Jodi in true fashion offers up both sides of a controversial topic. THis one was not one of my favorites by her not because of the topic but lack of character development. Gay marriage, fertility, moving on and healing at the forefront of this book.
