I've long been a Picoult fan, but I found this latest work to be somewhat disappointing. While I appreciate what Picoult does by using contemporary issues as the groundwork for novels, this one seemed to be more about the issue than it did about the story. The plot seemed to me to be a little forced, and the interaction between the characters was often too rushed to be believable. Like all her other books I enjoyed it. Took a little bit longer for me to read. It was nice to see the ending turn out the way it did and see everyone happy.

Another fascinating, well researched book by Jodi Picoult. Several issues are dealt with in the book including gay rights & the conception of babies. The ending, although predictable, was a lovely end to a terrific story.

not my favorite Picoult, but definitely a good read as I have come to expect with all of her novels.

Once again Jodi Picoult has managed to knock me over. Loved the book...loved the controversy... A couple of twists and turns... a highly charged moral dilemma

Jodi in true fashion offers up both sides of a controversial topic. THis one was not one of my favorites by her not because of the topic but lack of character development. Gay marriage, fertility, moving on and healing at the forefront of this book.
