Just when I thought we might not enter a courtroom in one of Picoult's books...

Oh well, the story was good with so many challenging topics that ordinary people deal with every day. Infertility, IVF, alcoholism, religion, same sex relationships and marraige. Great debatable topics with peoples opinions at varying degrees. Picoult portrays characters thoughtfully in each of these circumstances and gives a good picture of what its like to be on both ends of a disagreement.

My favourite author and her latest book is up amongst her best. It follows 3 main characters and thier struggle with issues concertning infertility, IVF, same sex relationships and religion. It had me hooked from the start - can't wait for the next one! ...more

Another fascinating, well researched book by Jodi Picoult. Several issues are dealt with in the book including gay rights & the conception of babies. The ending, although predictable, was a lovely end to a terrific story.
