I love Jodi Picoult. She's hands down my favorite author....BUT I wasn't really in love with this book. I knew the ending right from the beginning, and there really were no twists or turns.
I am however looking forward to her next book and will so continue to read her books. This is only the second book of her's that I haven't fulling enjoyed....I have loved all the others, and I have read all of her books.

Like her other recent novels (Change of Heart, Handle With Care) House Rules left much to be desired. Despite the book's lack of intrigue or mystery, Jodi seems to be gaining momentum & may produce another page-turning hit sometime soon.

Finished this one last night, if 1/2 stars were an option, it would have earned 4.5. I thought I had figured out the ending as it turns out, I was right. I enjoyed this book and "hearing" Jacob's perspective on his world and life. Working with kids on Probation, it was easy to relate to how people would assume Jacob is guilty based on his actions as a result of his Asperger's. Another well written Jodi book!

Jodi never disappoints me! It's amazing how she can write from different charachter's points of view and make each voice so unique.
