I love Jodi Picoult. She's hands down my favorite author....BUT I wasn't really in love with this book. I knew the ending right from the beginning, and there really were no twists or turns.

I am however looking forward to her next book and will so continue to read her books. This is only the second book of her's that I haven't fulling enjoyed....I have loved all the others, and I have read all of her books.

Like her other recent novels (Change of Heart, Handle With Care) House Rules left much to be desired. Despite the book's lack of intrigue or mystery, Jodi seems to be gaining momentum & may produce another page-turning hit sometime soon. ...more

This was another well written book by Jodi Picoult. I was intrigued by the story line because the main character has Asperger's syndrome. As much as I loved the story as a whole, and thought the portrayal of a student with Asperger's was pretty realistic, I began to change my mind by the end of the book. However, overall it was a good book! ...more

This was a really good book... a bit more predictable than many of her other books but I really enjoyed it still...

Another great book by Picoult with a controversial issue, court room drama and emotional rollercoasters.

This is not my least favorite of Picoults books, but it is pretty close. I enjoyed it and it held my interest, but as for surprise ends for which she is famous,it just did not cut it. I did learn a lot about people with Aspergers.

I found there was no really big surprise ending in this one. It was still written with Picoult's usual omph and was throughly enjoyable. I just didn't have my usual jaw drop by the end of the book. ...more
