I loved this book, I was reading it for my book club at the library. I didn't know much about the Lindbergh's. I knew that their son had been kidnapped and was later found dead. But I never knew anything about Anne. The one thing that I got from this book, is that I want to go further and learn more on this couple. This might have been closer to a 3.5 star rating for me. The writing was well-done. The book did exactly what Melanie Benjamin says she hoped it would do: It made me want to go learn more about the Lindberghs. Like many other reviewers, I was extremely frustrated at how compliant Anne was not just to Charles Lindbergh's every demand, but how she allowed him to treat their children.
