Girl Waits with Gun is an excellent historical novel based on a real incident in the lives of people living in a time before most of us were born. I was transported back to that time with flair and wit by the author and engaged in a wild and harrowing adventurous year. Great story!
Book club choice. I didn't know it was based on a true story until the end. Love the strong female characters in 1914. Enjoyable.
