[close] Wow! I can find few faults with this book. The writing was pretty good. The story was very intriguing and the narrative flowed well. The author took the reader on a journey through ethically behavior, art history, and the tumultuous nature of misguided love. This was a very fast read for me, because I could not put the book away. I wanted to know the mystery. The narrative was so impressively written that I discovered the outcome just a page before it was presented by the main character. Honestly, this is a truely great read. I highly recommend it!

I really enjoyed this book club pick. A easy read. Nice mix of conspiracy, moral angst, mystery and nice background of Art and the Artist techniques.

I really liked the story and the art/painting descriptions. Just like with most stories about painters, I once again want to become a famous painter. Despite my complete lack of skill or training.
However, I almost gave this 2-3 stars because the main character is a complete moron and I kind of hated her. It was hard to feel sympathy for some of her poor decisions, but I still enjoyed the book.
