This is my first time reading any of Jodi Picoult stories, Overall I thought this was a pretty good story. I am not sure how I can reconcile her helping Joseph at the end? Taking his life. I feel that she lowered herself to the Nazi standards. Plus she gave Joseph what he wanted? He got to choose his death, which can't be said for none of his victim. Plus she was acting from false information from the start? Great twist in the plot by the way, which to me seemed like almost a cruel of the Arthur

I didn't enjoy this as much as some other of Jodi Picoult's novels, which I tend to think of as moral dilemas. I didn't warm to Sage enough to feel connected to the story, or to the moral dilema. I was a bit disappointed, but would still recommend to people who like Jodi Picoult's novels and style of writing.
