Just an incredible story! It's so sad what he went through before anyone realized he was completely aware of all that was going on, and his brain was perfect! Incredible that he had to teach himself to read and completely taught himself all about computers! What's more his writing is astoundingly beautiful, and sooooo expressive! His wife, Joanna, seems like such a special, beautiful soul! What a gift God has given them! This is a story of hope when all seems lost!

This was truly a touching story. I've felt so many different emotions while reading about Martin's life. It brought tears to my eyes and goosebumps to my skin. The fact that it is a true story absolutely horrified me while trying to put myself in his shoes. I could not fathom the degree of fear, frustration and defeat he felt for so long.
