I haven’t read the other books in this series in probably ten years, but it seems like this takeover by the new author isn’t the same. (Of course it isn’t, duh.) But I was disappointed in the way this book just felt like a bunch of background information, not any real action or resolution, and the way this guy writes women makes me think he hardly interacts with them.
