I finished this dramatic and fun time travel mystery thriller book today. For the first almost half of the book I wasn’t too sure if I really liked it or not. It seemed to be told in the third person but with the narration fitting the character that was being presented. I enjoyed this book, though at first I had a hard time getting into it. It was a little difficult to follow the story line in the middle since it keeps jumping between people and places. But once the story got further underway, I found myself really enjoying it. The premise is interesting and gives a new dimension to a novel about a serial killer.

The writing and the obvious attention to historical detail made this book magnificent; however, I would like to have known more about the origins of the house. I thought the ending was disappointing and the story felt incomplete.

Each individual was very interesting, and kept me going through the book. But the ending was a true waste of a great idea, in my opinion.
All the thought into how this whole 'thing' comes full circle seems to have been forgotten and the end just ended.
