What Members Thought
Didn't like this one as much as "The Little Sisters..." prequel. I was continually confused by the story world. One minute you'd be in an old western setting, then get thrown off by encountering a girl in a cropped tank-top wearing flip-flops (partially made-up example, but you get the idea). Too many of those instances; felt like the the storyline was mish-mashed, and incohesive.

This was not what I expected and a little too sci-fi for my typical liking. And I did not love any characters. I have read all the reviews saying that this is just a setup for the rest of the series so to stick with it. So, because I know how loved this series is by many King fans, I will definitely read book 2 before giving up.
