This will be one of those all-time stand out novels I believe. I AM sick of it being yet another book that is being compared to Gone Girl. Pfft to that. I think this is way better anyway, but can we stop the comparisons now? I really enjoyed every minute of The Girl on the Train.

Once again I fell for the hype. I was put off by the comparisons to Gone Girl, which I didn't like. I felt the beginning was slow and I was ready to give up, until the first few pages from Megan's point of view and then I was hooked.

Intriguing. Unputdownable. Unpredictable.
The ending was way better than I expected. I liked it very much. One thing I didn't like, the story from chapter 1 to end is so, so depressing. It's like while you're reading it you just want to jump to the last chapter so that you put an end to your suffering.That's why I gave 4 stars. ...more
