What Members Thought

Basically, an extra drunk and screwed-up Bridget Jones (yes, because she's British) is in the middle of a mystery/thriller/soap opera a la Rear Window and Gone Girl and a few other things I would compare to but might induce spoilers (although you'd have to be stupid not to figure out the "twist" halfway through). Not the worst book I've read this year, but close. It was like a soap opera. The story is told by three incredibly weak women. I really can't stand weak characters!! It may not have been as bad if it'd not been promoted as a psychological thriller. Whoever said that has not read any Alex Delaware novels!

It was similar to Gone Girl, except I didn't really want to throw it after I was done reading it. :P There are not really any likable characters in this book! But I really liked it, and I couldn't manage to put it down.
