I chose to revisit Anne of Green Gables for the Literary Exploration challenge. It was one of my favorite books as a kid, and I was interested to see how the book compared to my memory.
The initial chapters were like a reunion. Anne, Matthew and Marilla jumped off the page, and I quickly remembered why I liked them so much. Who wouldn't love Anne's imagination, or Matthew's quiet strength, or Marilla's moments of humor? They are fantastic characters, and it was so great to meet them again.
