I had mixed feelings reading this book. Yes, there are a lot of details that could have probably been otherwise left out, but overall, it was an interesting read. Though, I wish the book wasn't told solely from Kate's POV. Vi's would have been interesting to delve into, since the book is titled "Sisterland" and was essentially about both Violet and Kate.

So the judgmental, homophobic, insecure, and boring narrator of this book is someone we are supposed to sympathize with and root for? If only I had her *supposed* psychic ability, I would have known not to have wasted even one page (let alone the 399 sudsy, sappy ones that followed) being inside her pretty, blond, and extremely bland head.

I was lucky enough to receive this book from the first read contest. I really enjoy this book. It had many interesting things such as twins and supernatural aspects. I really like the relationships in this book. I also really like all the details in the book. The thing that took away from the book maybe that there is to much details. It made it tedious to read some time. But all in all an enjoyable book.
