I agree. I enjoyed this one more than the first likely due to character familiarization. Pretty graphic but believe this series could be compelling movies.

It's possible that I gave this a lower rating because I had read Cuckoo's Calling just before, but the book felt a lot more scattered than the first, and the resolution was rushed and not nearly as satisfactory. ...more
