This was an amazing book. The author is great at descriptions and character development. I was a bit beffuddled by the back and forth at first (for the 1st half of the book actually) but got into the rhythm after that. Wonderful descriptions of wartime Europe and the things people went through. Recommended for all history buffs and people who just want a good story.
