Ok, I'm about half way done with this. I find it interesting enough but I keep guessing what is going to happens and then it happens. So it is not surprising me. I am getting bored with it. I need to move on. Too many books and too little time. :(

I loved this book. We read it for book club and had a great discussion about it.
Although I had heard many recommendations for this book, I put off reading it until one of my book clubs chose it. I was in the mood for a depressing book, but when I read it, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Once again, a book that gives you historical background and makes you want to learn more about the past can be a very good thing. I liked the ending, but did not see it coming.
Great story, interesting characters, really good read. I loved the changing perspective of the character in youth and old age. I wish I could have Rosie for my own, she was such a character of her own. Loved the ending!

Great story depression era train circus story. I knew nothing about it before I read it other than I saw a few people in the train reading it and the cover art was enticing..totally worth the read.
