I reread this book in preparation for Go Set A Watchman. I don't know why I didn't overly enjoy this book the first time I read it, possibly because I had to read it for school? Anyway, rereading it made me appreciate how great this book is, it is fantastically written!! My only initial complaint was that every main character was almost too good to be true. Scout was the innocent child, Jem was the coming of age story and Atticus was the heroic father figure always one step ahead. But then I tho

Second time reading this and I still love it. I studied it for English Literature at GCSE (I was 16) and it was the hardest book to chose from of the syllabus. My teacher was from Texas and chose it because it's her favourite book, and now mine. I recommend everyone reading this because it is a great book and story :)
