What a pleasure to hear Gaiman narrate this himself (made me wonder: as he was reading it, did he wish he could have changed a few things?) It was very thought-provoking, and such an original idea to have Bod raised by spirits. Some of the things I really wondered about: what would it be like to be hugged for the first time at an older age (when Scarlet hugs him. assuming he wouldn't remember infant hugs)? Read this for "Spooky Season", and I really enjoyed it. It's a fun, enjoyable book about a young man raised by ghosts. It includes a mystery, a bit of romance, adventure, and an interesting story line. Despite that it's geared for young audiences, it's enjoyable for most anyone.
