I love science fiction. Add in some religious overtones and my intrigue jumps up and down waving like Hermione trying to be the first to answer. This book evokes you to look into yourself and think and feel what you truly believe. I fell in love immediately with everyone from the beginning. The intrigue of finding out but by bit what really happened just kept pulling at me. Then....you get to the end. And I mean like the last 20-30 pages and you find out. This is an unusual mix of science fiction and religious discussion. I say "discussion" because a number of religious views (Catholic, Jewish, agnostic, atheist) are represented and the characters discuss them without proselytizing or trying to convert one another. The religious characters admit to having many doubts; the non-religious can at times see the appeal of religion. It's nice to see religion discussed without anyone condemning or demeaning one another.
