Such a good story that I haven't read in years. Thanks to all the emphasis on banned books right now, I decided to read it again. I've seen the movie (or movies) and I've seen it done on stage and this is one of the few books that I really like the movie and plays as well as (not better than) the book. Steinbeck captured the common and hurting man of the depression better than anyone else that I've read. ...more

rubbish. I dont get the bloody hype about steinbeck. I will never read anything of his again.
