Two farmhands, George and Lennie, arrive at their new work. They dream of a better life. An easier life, where they got a small piece of land and tend to the land and live from it.

Reality looks quite differently though, since they got chased out of town and away from their old work, since Lennie, the stronger and not as bright one as George, caused a commotion. Lennie, as it turns out to be, causes trouble without really wanting to.

I know I should probably give this more stars but I'm struggling to give it 2 to be honest.

I didn't like it, I know that it's a 'classic' and a 'must read' but I don't see why, maybe I just didn't understand it, maybe it's because I wasn't affected by the end of the book, maybe I'm just a horrible person. I just didn't like it. At least I know that now. ...more
