Difficult book to read. Separate dialogues interleaved with one another for no apparent reason other than to confuse the reader. And then there is the morose view of the human condition. Not a smile to be found between the covers, but the story stays with you for a while after finishing it. I'd read this with a group. You need the viewpoints of others to fully understand the story.
