Wow. I’m speechless. I also can’t remember the last time a novel brought me to tears like that. Waterfall! Fabulous book. 100% worth turning all 1,460 pages and risking early arthritis in your wrists. I seriously almost want to begin it all over again right now. Heads up, Hugo digresses a lot (Waterloo, ‘argot’ and the Parisian Sewers...), it’s a very political book and there is A LOT of misery. Don’t watch the movies or the plays, do yourself a service and read the book.
