What Members Thought

I loved Stoner. When he fell in love with literature and changed his life’s path to follow his passion instead of his parents’ plans, I knew I wanted to know MORE. How difficult that must have been.
Some people may find this book “lifeless” for lack of a better word to describe Stoner’s outwardly quiet life. However, I loved reading about someone who lived a life where he did pursue what moved him, he lived by a set of morals, and how he reacted when those two things often came into conflict.
