Wow. It took me two years, but I finally get it. I did not at all understand this book when I first read it. I assume that is because I'm very very white.
This is part of what I wrote two years ago: I've been hoping to read it for years. I read the first 150 pages or so, and was just so annoyed by the witless main character (the invisible man), that I lost all patience.
