Well, I've seen the movie - which for Kubrick is an astonishingly accurate copy of the book - so there wasn't a surprise here. Perhaps the best part of this audio edition was listening to the author talk about the work - and the deletion of the final chapter in the American edition (as well as the movie). For what its worth, that final chapter didn't add anything to the story for me, and felt kind of forced. Like Burgess was trying too hard to say people aren't really no good.
